Gaming Investigations – IR and Other

Casino Investigators are often appointed from within the ranks of their own departments, without receiving any formal training on investigations, investigation techniques or the gathering, preservation and presentation of evidence. Charging Officers are expected to prepare cases for Industrial Relations (IR) Hearings that could later be tested by the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) or the courts.

This one day course aims to provide investigators (Surveillance, Security and Charging Officers in various departments) with the necessary skills to collect, preserve and present evidence in a manner which will be admissible in legal proceedings (Criminal and IR).
